Internet

The Internet (or the Internet) is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) suite to communicate between networks and devices. It is a network of networks consisting of private, public, academic, commercial and governmental networks of local and global reach, linked to a wide range of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries a wide range of information resources and services, such as interconnected hypertext documents, World Wide Web (WWW) applications, e-mail, telephony, and file sharing.
