Mahmoud Ismail Ali Al-Jaidi is an Egyptian writer, born in 1977 in Dakahlia Governorate, specializing in the field of horror and suspense stories. Mahmoud Al-Jaidi joined the Faculty of Commerce from Mansoura University and graduated from it and obtained a Bachelor of Accounting in 1999. After that, he began trying to publish his literary production, but he was not lucky at that, and he forgot his dream of writing for several years. After that, he participated in several literary competitions, among which he had a share in winning: • Winner of Dar Ibdaa competition in partnership with Harouf Short Story Library. • Winner of the Tekiya Literary Competition for the novel “A Touch of Evil”, which was published at the Cairo Exhibition in 2015 by Noon Publishing House.
