من العادات الإرثية العائلية أنه بعد موت أي فردٍ من العائلة؛ يتم الاحتفاظ بشيء من أثره بالصندوق، مثل قطعة من حليّه أو شيء صغير يُذكر به.. تقوم الأسرة بالاحتفاظ بهذا الشيء داخل صندوق خشبي لتتناقله الأجيال، مطلقين عليه (صندوق الموتى).. غير أنه لم يعد كذلك، بعد أن حُفِرَت عليه تلك النقوش الدنسة، ليصبح شيئًا آخر.. شيئًا أكثر هولاً وبطشًا.. فقد أصبح محبسًا للشيطان ذاته..!
