The Iraqi writer Ali Badr was born in Baghdad / Eastern Karada 1964. Bachelor's degree in French literature 1985. Between 1985 and 1991 he performed military service, half of which was spent in the Iran-Iraq war. After that, he entered specialized courses in the verification and repair of manuscripts at the National Manuscripts House in Baghdad 1992. He tried to complete his university studies in Baghdad in 1996 by writing a thesis on Roland Barthes, but he was dismissed from the university for political reasons before the discussion. Without falling into the glaring imitation of reality or history, it came boldly and dealt with prosperous or decadent Iraqi cultural periods, but it constituted a turning point in the modern history of Iraq.
