الشيطان الراقص هو الكتاب الثاني للكاتب عمراني حميد بعد كتابه الأول تخاريف. هذه الرواية القصيرة تدور حول طالبة جامعية تسافر للدراسة وتقرر الإقامة في فندق يعاني من أزمة اقتصادية ويقترب من الإغلاق. بينما تستريح في غرفتها، تشعر بوجود أمور غريبة، حيث يظهر لها شيطان غامض بميول عنيفة يستمتع بتعذيبها ويحاول جعلها زوجته. تنتهي قصتها بجريمة بشعة لم يتمكن المحققون من حلها. بعد سنوات، يتحسن وضع صاحب الفندق، ويزوره مستكشف من قناة ثقافية للتحقيق في قصة الفتاة، لكن الأمور تتطور إلى جرائم دموية مرعبة تتسبب في بث الذعر داخل الفندق. تعود قضية الفندق إلى محقق المدينة، فهل سيتمكن من وضع حد لهذا الشيطان المتعجرف القادم من الجحيم؟
