Salma Anwar

Salma Anwar is an Egyptian writer and researcher in political sociology. She was born in Cairo Governorate in 1981. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University in 2002, then obtained a master's degree in human rights from Ireland in 2005. Salma Anwar worked as an editor and translator on the Egyptian radio, and her articles were published In many Egyptian and Arabic magazines, newspapers and websites, including Al-Watan newspaper and Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper.
Salma Anwar has written many books that varied between articles, novels, collections of stories, and poetic texts, the most important of which are:
God is the Homeland, but we see: It was published in 2009 by Dar Don for Publishing and Distribution in Cairo.
Nabrujada (novel): It was published in 2015 by Dar Don for Publishing and Distribution in Cairo. Al-Saeed fi Revelation of its Women (a series of articles): It was published in 2017 by the Battana Cultural Foundation in Cairo. The General Egyptian Bookstore in Cairo. Matryoshka.. Women Within Women (novel): It was published in 2018 by Dar Delta for Publishing and Distribution in Cairo during the Cairo International Book Fair.
On June 26, 2021, Salma Anwar received the Tamicum silver necklace, and her name was included in the Egyptian National Honor List, Writers and Intellectuals Branch.
