Ismail Kadareh
He was born in 1936 in southern Albania, studied at Nirana University and Gorky Institute, then went to Moscow to study literature, and in 1960 he returned to Albania and worked in the field of journalism. Ismail Kadare won the International Booker Prize in 2005.
