Malek Haddad
Malek Haddad is an Algerian poet, writer and novelist, originally from the Kabylie region. He was born in Constantine, the capital of the Algerian East, and where he was educated. Then he traveled to France and obtained a Bachelor of Laws, and when he returned, he published the magazine "Al-Takadum" and participated in the Algerian revolution. His production was distinguished by a philosophical whiff. His: "Misery is in danger", "The Last Impression", and a collection of "I hear and I call you", all in French. He assumed many responsibilities in the Ministry of Culture and Information, and was the first general secretary of the Algerian Writers Union. Among his most important publications: a collection of poetry “Misery in Danger”: 1956, “The Last Impression”: 1958, “I will give you a Ghazala”: 1959, “The Student and the Lesson”: 1960, “There is no one in the flowerbed who answers”: 1961. 1961: A study entitled: "Zeros that revolve in the void".
