Batoul Khudairi
Batoul Al-Khudairi was born in Baghdad in 1965 to an Iraqi father and a Scottish mother. She obtained a BA in French literature from Al-Mustansiriya University and currently lives in Amman. Her first novel, "How Close the Sky Looked," was translated from Arabic into English, Italian, French and Dutch, and was the subject of study and analysis in the literary critical lesson in a number of international universities.
