A Lebanese writer and novelist, born in North Lebanon in 1985. She holds a BA and an educational license in English literature and is pursuing a master's degree. She published investigations and articles in several newspapers, as well as literary texts and short stories in the An-Nahar Cultural Supplement, Windows Supplement, and the Bahrain Cultural Magazine. Her first novel, Forbidden Desires, was published in 2009 and won the Simon Hayek Prize in Batroun, North Lebanon. Her second novel, "I, She and the Others", was nominated for the short list of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in its 2013 session. She currently works for the English-language newspaper "The Daily Star".
