رواية:رَجْعُ الصّدَى ذكريات طفولتي منذ أن ولدت في تلك القرية النائية في صعيد مصر تطاردني. أريد أن أحكيها، أريد أن أقصها عليكم. ربما أتخلص من هاجس ظل يؤرقني طوال حياتي: لماذا أنا هو أنا؟ ما الذي يشكل قناعاتي في تلك المرحلة الإنتقالية من حياتي، مرحلة الإنتقال من صخب الأيديولوجيا الى مرحلة إجترار الذكريات. أليست السنوات الأولي من عمر الإنسان هي التي تحدد تصرفاتنا في كافة مراحل حياتنا كما يزعم علماء النفس؟ إذن دعوني أخرج ما في مكنون نفسي. دعوني أرى ذلك الطفل الصغير الذي فقد أمه ولم يتجاوز الرابعة عشر من عمره. دعوني أسرد قصة هذا الطفل الذي ربما تتشابه قصته مع الآلاف من أبناء جيله. كم أشفق على ذلك الطفل وأتمنى أن أحتضنه الآن وأضمه الى صدري لأعوضه بعضا من حنان الأم الذي فقده في مرحلة مبكرة من عمره.

Ayman Zuhri

He is an Egyptian writer, born in 1964 AD in Sohag in Upper Egypt. He is a writer and researcher specializing in migration and population studies. He has eight books published in Arabic, which are "The Book of the Conditions of Egyptian Society", which is a collection of articles describing the conditions of Egypt at the beginning of the twentieth century, and he has another book called "The Danish Experience", which is a book in travel literature about His personal experience in Denmark, and the third book is a novel entitled "Bahr al-Rum", which tells about the problem of illegal immigration, and his last book, "My Three Pounds: Communication and Society in Egypt" is about the impact of communications on Egyptian society, and the fifth book is called "Facebooks" and it is a collection of Articles, and the sixth book is a novel called “Raj’ al-Sada,” the seventh book of satirical literature, “Takhayef,” and the last book is “Playing Children,” which is the author’s autobiography. He also has many books in English and published in specialized scientific journals outside Egypt. Dr. Zuhri holds a Ph.D. in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex in England and worked as a researcher, expert, consultant and university professor at the American University in Cairo, the American University in Beirut, the Danish Institute for International Studies, the European Union, the United Nations, the National Population Council in Egypt, the Demographic Center in Egypt, the League of Arab States and The National Council for Human Rights in Egypt. He is the founder and president of the Egyptian Association for Migration Studies. Dr. Zohri has published many research papers and articles related to population and migration studies in many international scientific journals and participated in many national, regional and international conferences and symposiums related to his research interests. He has also published many articles in the Egyptian and Arab press. Dr. Zohri is an active member of many scientific societies related to his fields of interest, including, for example, the Egyptian Geographical Society, the Egyptian Demographic Society, the International Consortium for the Scientific Study of Population, the International Society for the Study of Forced Migration and the European Society for Population Studies.
