Amr Khaled
An Islamic preacher and thinker interested in social reform, and he is the founder of the Life Makers Association. His advocacy work began in Egypt at the beginning of this century, then he became famous throughout the Arab and Islamic countries, and he presented many television programs that achieved great fame in their beginnings. He founded the Misr Party The future was in 2012, but he resigned from it for political reasons on the one hand, and his desire to devote himself to preaching on the other. He started giving lessons at the Shooting Club in the Dokki neighborhood in Cairo, then moved to the Al-Hosary Mosque in Agouza and then to the Al-Ghafrah Mosque in the Agouza district until the mosque became crowded and could not bear it. Coming from faraway places, his stardom in the Arab world was launched on satellite screens through the Iqra satellite channel. He prepared and lectured in Egypt public lectures and meetings for two years from 2000 to 2002, and the number of attendees reached 35,000, in addition to specialized courses for more than 40 Arab media professionals in Beirut in March 2003. He left Egypt on October 30, 2002 because the Egyptian authorities chose him between stopping. About the invitation and leaving Egypt. He remained in Beirut until the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in February 2005, from which he left for Britain because he felt that Lebanon was unsafe.
