Hafida Qara Beban was born in Bizerte, the capital of northern Tunisia, and she grew up since childhood on a love of literature and art. She practiced her primary and secondary education in her country of birth, then studied Arabic literature at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Tunis - the first stage - before working as a teacher. I wrote the story, the article, the novel and the poetic text. She joined the Story Club (Tunisia) since the late seventies and the Tunisian Writers Union after the publication of her first book in 1984. It was published in various newspapers and magazines in Tunisia and abroad. She participated in several national and international forums in Tunisia and in some Arab countries. Some of its texts have been included in Tunisian education programmes. Contributed to judging committees for literary competitions. Some of her stories have been translated into French and into Chinese.
