Izzat Al-Qamhawi

Ezzat al-Qamhawi (born December 23, 1961) is an Egyptian novelist who has published eleven literary books so far, including five novels, two books of short stories, and two books of texts. In addition to literary writings, Al-Qamhawi writes articles in Egyptian and Arab newspapers, including Al-Masry Al-Youm and Al-Quds Al-Arabi. Al-Qamhawi was awarded the Naguib Mahfouz Prize on December 11, 2012 for his novel Beit El-Deeb.
