A Palestinian novelist, poet and literary critic, he writes in three languages: Arabic, Hungarian and English. He was born in the town of Anabta in the West Bank in 1957, and began his creative activities during high school. His first poems and short stories were published in Al-Quds and Al-Fajr newspapers published in the city of Jerusalem. His published works.. So far, the author has published five novels in Arabic. 1- Stones of Pain: This novel was first published in the Hungarian language in Budapest in 2004, and received a warm reception from critics and readers alike, to the extent that one of the critics demanded that it be included in the curriculum of Hungarian schools. One of the most important enthusiasts of the novel was the President of the Republic of Hungary, Arpad Gönz, and he complimented it with warm words. The novel was published by Ugarit House in Ramallah in 2005. 2- Shahrazad picking thyme in Anabta: It was published in Beirut by the Arab Institute for Studies and Publishing in 2008 and received a warm reception from the Arab literary community. The Egyptian novelist Bahaa Taher described her satirical style as “an extension of Emile’s style.” Darling". - Bridges, cracks and birds that do not fly: issued in Beirut by the Arab Institute for Studies and Publishing in 2010 4- "Jaffa prepares morning coffee", issued in Beirut by the Arab Institute for Studies and Publishing in June 2012. It received a warm reception from readers and critics, and was nominated for the "Arab Booker Prize" and reached the long list among 16 Arab novels, out of 133 novels nominated for the award. 5- “Jenin 2002” and there are works published in Hungarian and English. The writer is a member of the "Bush Writers" group, which includes international writers who worked for the BBC. Among the prominent Arab names in this group are Sudanese novelist Tayeb Salih, and among international writers, novelist George Orwell.
