Yasser Ahmed (novelist, born 1980, Egypt) is a writer. His first novel won the 2012 Sawiris Prize in the Young Authors category. His novel was the subject of the first book program at the French Council in Cairo. Four chapters of the novel will be translated into French and published in Al-Ahram Hebdo newspaper. He wrote many short stories and articles on the Internet.

In 2014, he published his second novel, The Republic of the Red Monkey, and in 2018, his third novel, The Madness of Dubai. Mr. Ahmed has several English language technical articles published online focusing on Arabic content. The third novel was published in 2018 under the title "The Crazy Dubai" by Dar Al-Ain.
