نعيش مع والدينا وإخوتنا في منزل صغير بحي عريق من أحياء العاصمة. حرص أبونا على تعليق تماسيح صغيرة محئطة على جدران البيت. وزعها على الغرف وكأن الواحد منها شرط للعيش في المكان. كانت كلها تماسيح صغيرة إلا المعلق على جدار الصالة. كان أكبرها حجما طوله يزيد قليلا عن المترين وبطنه أعرض من بطون البقية.
