Ashraf Fakih is a Saudi storyteller from Medina. He is one of the few Arab writers interested in the genre of science fiction. He has published three short story collections in this regard: The Ghostbuster 1997 - Nostalgia for the Stars 2000 - More Twenty Lives 2006 - In the summer of 2012, his first novel (The Impaler) was published, dedicating his passion for the historical story of suspense and fantasy. In addition to his creative writings, Ashraf Fakih is interested in knowledge culture and the simplification of science. He is the scientific editor of the cultural magazine "The Caravan" published by Saudi Aramco since September 2013. Ashraf Fakih is also known as an opinion article writer. He wrote between 2005 and 2012 for Al-Youm, Al-Watan and Al-Sharq newspapers. In addition to what he publishes on his personal blog, alfagih.net, a faculty member at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Queen's University of Canada.
