كتاب المغني من مستودعات الفقه الحنبلي، ويمكن اعتباره من أكبر كتب الفقه في الإسلام، وهو للإمام موفق الدين أبي محمد عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن قدامه المقدسي الجماعيلي الدمشقي الصالحي المولد سنة 541 هـ والمتوفي سنة620 هـ ، وهذا الكتاب هو شرحٌ لمختصر الخرقي الذي هو أبي القاسم عمر بن الحسين الخرقي، و يعتبر هذا الكتاب أغنى شروح الخرقي على الإطلاق، وأشهرها بالاتفاق، فلا يستغني عنه المتفقه ولا المحدث ولا الراغب في فقه السلف من الصحابة والتابعين فمن بعدهم، ولا جرم أن صار أحد كتب الإسلام، وحرص على تحصيله علماء الأمصار، في كافة الأعصار.
