صحيح أننا بصدد حوارات مع أدباء وأديبات كهويات أولى يتحلون بها، لكنّ الاكتفاء بهذه الصفة والتركيز عليها دون سواها، أو هذا البُعد فيهم جميعاً دون غيره، سوف يؤدي إلى حصرهم داخل دائرة الاختصاص (الأدب)، ويؤكدُ وَهْمَ الإنبتات الذي أشارَ إليه إدوارد سعيد ناقداً إيّاه، وخالعاً على الراضي به سِمة “المثقف الوظيفي” أو الموظّف؛ كأنما الأديب المثقف مخلوقٌ مسطّح يسبح في صندوق زجاجي (كأي أسماك زينة تنظرُ بعيون بلهاء)، بلا أي صِلةِ تلسعه بنيران حرائق العالم، أو تلطخه بدماء ضحاياه، أو تدمّرُ كينونته بأنقاض مدنه المقصوفة والمستباحة! فإذا ما يزال بعضنا يكتفي من الكاتبـ/ ـة الغوصَ في “أسرار” الكتابة خاصتهـ / ـها فقط؛ فإنهم جميعاً، وضمن هذه المجموعة، عملوا على توسيع هذا التوقُع الشحيح، وذهبوا، مباشرةً أو مواربةً، صوبَ الساخن والملتهب في مجتمعاتهم ومجتمعات العالم، وأدلوا بآرائهم بحسب ما أمْلتت عليهم رؤاهم وأخلاقياتهم. وبذلك: كان أن هتكوا الزيفَ، وحوّلوا أسرار الكلام المسيطر، صوتاً وصورةً في فضاءات البث المُعادي، الحي والمباشر والغازي والمُعولم، إلى فضائح تشهد على نفسها على أصحابها، في الوقت نفسه.

Elias Farkouh

Jordanian novelist and writer, born in Amman in 1948, obtained a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Beirut Arab University. He worked in cultural journalism during the years 1977-1979, and participated in editing the cultural magazine Al-Mahd, and the poet Taher Riyad participated in the management of Manarat Publishing House during the years 1980 -1991, and then founded Azmina House for Publishing and Distribution in 1992, where he works as its director. He is one of the founders of the Jordanian Publishers Association, and he is a member of the aforementioned union, the Union of Arab Writers and Writers, and the Jordanian Writers Association, of which he served as a member of its administrative board for several sessions. His novel Qamat al-Zabad won the State Encouragement Award for the year 1990, and he won the State Appreciation Award in the field of short story in 1997. He also won the Mahmoud Seif Al-Din Iranian Short Story Award from the Jordanian Writers Association, and the Association had awarded him the award for best short story collection for the year 1982 for his one collection Twenty bullets for the Prophet.
