A novelist from Tunisia, a Tunisian writer, winner of the 2015 International Prize for Arabic Fiction, a State Doctor of Arts from the Faculty of Arts in Manouba. Former Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities at the University of Manouba and now occupies the position of President of Manouba University. Member of several editorial boards of refereed journals, including “Ebla” magazine published by the Institute of White Fathers in Tunisia and Romano Arabica magazine issued by the Center for Arabic Studies of the University of Bucharest (Romania).
