Hussein Abdul Basir
An Egyptian archaeologist, novelist, and writer, he holds a BA in ancient Egyptian antiquities from the Faculty of Archeology, Cairo University, and a master’s and doctoral degrees in ancient Egyptian antiquities and the history and archeology of the ancient Near East at Johns Hopkins University in the United States of America. He now occupies the position of director of the Antiquities Museum at Alexandria University, and supervisor The Dr. Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. He is the author of a large number of well-known books, scientific articles, novels and stories in the field of archeology, both globally and locally.
