Lita Epstein earned her master’s degree at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where she ran the accounting lab for MBAs and Executive MBAs.
After completing her MBA, she worked as the associate director of development for The Carter Center and then as assistant manager of facilities management for the Emory clinics. She is the author of more than 35 books, including The Business Owner’s Guide to Reading and Understanding Financial Reports, Bookkeeping for Dummies, and Reading Financial Reports for Dummies.
Prior to earning her master’s degree, Lita worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and press secretary for a U.S. Congressman. Lita earned her undergraduate degree in community development at Rutgers University. She continues to work as a volunteer for community development entities in the community in which she lives.

Lita received her bachelor's from Rutgers University with a degree in community development and earned her MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
