Egyptian writer and journalist, working in the field of cultural journalism since 2004. He has published two novels, Rogers (2007) and The Use of Life (2014). A sensation arose around him in 2016 after his trial for his novel "Using Life" after he was accused of infringing life and sentenced to two years in prison.
