Raja Nehme is a Lebanese novelist and researcher in modern linguistics. She has published many educational and educational books for young people and researches in the social and psychological analysis of literature, as well as a number of novels and stories in Lebanon, Egypt and Kuwait. She was born in the city of Tyre in Jabal Amel (southern Lebanon). She continued her studies and obtained a BA in history from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 1968. She also received a doctorate from the Sorbonne University in 1984 for her study "The Predicament of Modernity" in the literature of the Sudanese novelist "Al-Tayeb Salih". PhD in Psychoanalysis of Literature. She worked as an expert in adult education and training curricula and has many books in this field. In addition, she published several children's stories in the Kuwaiti magazine Al-Arabi Al-Saghir in the eighties, and wrote a number of articles in Al-Hayat newspaper. She is a member of the Lebanese Women Researchers Association, and participated in the establishment of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, and she has interests in the field of literacy in Egypt and Lebanon.
