qamar Kailani Books

A pioneering Syrian writer, born in Damascus in 1932. She graduated from Damascus University - Faculty of Arts - in the fifties. She obtained certificates in education (diploma), secondary education and the role of teachers (higher institute). She taught in the role of teachers, besides writing, and then on the National Commission for UNESCO. Since 1976 full-time for literature and a member of the Executive Office of the Arab Writers Union, and currently editor-in-chief of the Journal of Foreign Literature issued by the Arab Writers Union. 1954 - 1975 Teaching Arabic language, literature and pedagogy in higher institutes for the preparation of teachers and the role of teachers. 1975 - 1980 Member of the Executive Office of the Arab Writers Union - responsible for cultural activity. 1980 - 1985 Member of the National Committee for UNESCO - responsible for the affairs of the Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). 1985 - 2000 Member of the Executive Office of the Arab Writers Union - Responsible for External Relations - Responsible for the activity of literary societies and branches of the Union - Editor-in-chief of the Foreign Literatures magazine issued by the Arab Writers Union.
