An Egyptian novelist and short story writer, born in 1947 in the Gharbia Governorate, specifically the city of Mahalla al-Kubra. He obtained a diploma from the Commercial Technical Preparation Institute. He began his literary career in 1984 with the publication of his first collection of stories entitled "The Ugly and the Rose" by Dar Shahdi. This was followed by the publication of nearly 6 collections of stories, their titles varied: "The Taste of Carnations", "Silver Bird" and "The Suppression of the Passion", as well as Tales of the Prophet's Sweet Neighborhood, and the City Quartet, in addition to writing many stories and radio and television representations for children.
He has published several collections of short stories and novels, including: The Ugly and the Rose - Short Stories - Dar Shahdi 1984 - The Taste of the Carnation.
