Ahmed Salah is a former architect, graphic designer, novelist and illustrator. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, in 2003, and worked as an engineer and designer in a number of Egyptian and international design studios in Cairo, Budapest and London. His novel Al Nimroth was published in 2013, and his novel Valley of Ashes was published in 2016
