Saad Muhammad Rahim is an Iraqi writer born in Diyala, Iraq, 1957. He worked in the fields of teaching and journalism and published his journalistic work in some Iraqi and Arab newspapers and periodicals. He has published six short story collections, a number of political and literary studies, and three novels: "Twilight of Karaki" (2000), which won the 2000 Iraqi Novelist Creativity Award, "A Woman's Hymn, Twilight of the Sea" (2012) and "The Murder of the Bookseller" (2016). He also won the award for the best journalistic investigation in Iraq for the year 2005 and the award for creativity in the field of short story / Iraq 2010 for the "Zahr Al-Lawz" group (2009).
