Naim Sabry is an Egyptian novelist and poet residing in Cairo. He began his literary career by writing poetry and initially published two collections of poetry, postage stamp diaries and Reflections on Conditions. After that, he went to the theater and wrote the play Bir al-Tuta, which is a poetic musical play. After that, he wrote his poetic play, Al-Zaeem, and then returned to issue a book of poetry, Hadith of Beings. Naim Sabry began his prose writings with a book about his childhood biography titled Diary of an Old Child. Then he continued his prose writings and published nine novels so far, the most recent of which is the novel "You Keep Dreaming of Isis", which was published in 2009 by Madbouly Publishing House. Naim Sabry studied mechanical engineering and graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University in 1968. He worked in the engineering field and in self-employment until he devoted himself to literature since 1995. He is married to Mrs. Najwa Youssef and father of one daughter, Sarah Sabry.
