Mohamed Idriss is a Tunisian writer, actor and theater director. He took over the management of the Tunisian National Theater between 1988 and 2011. His artistic career began in 1961, when he started as an amateur comedian and then a professional. He taught in Tunis and Paris. In 2005 he founded the National Center for Circus Art and presided over the Carthage Theater Days.
