Mahmoud Mohamad Ali: A contemporary Egyptian writer and philosopher, he is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Assiut University.

“Mahmoud Muhammad Ali Muhammad” was born in 1966 AD in the city of Akhmim, Sohag Governorate, and he grew up like the people of his town to memorize the Noble Qur’an and the hadiths of the Prophet. He attended Al-Majlis Elementary School, then the New Preparatory School, then Akhmim Secondary School, from which he graduated in 1984 AD. Then he moved to Assiut Governorate, where he joined its university and specialized in the study of philosophy. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts in 1988 AD, and obtained a Master’s degree in 1990 CE from the Department of Philosophy at Cairo University on the subject of “The Illuminating Logic of the Suhrawardi al-Maqtal in the Light of Modern European Logic.” He obtained a Ph.

He was first appointed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Arts at Helwan University, then he was promoted to the position of teacher of logic and philosophy of science at the same faculty after obtaining his Ph.D., then he was promoted to the position of assistant professor, so he became a professor in 2012. He taught in many Egyptian universities, such as the University of Helwan, Assiut, and the South Valley. He was also a teacher at the University of the Seventh of April (currently Al-Zawiya University) in Libya, and he worked as a lecturer at the American University of Georgia in 2001 AD, during his mandate in the United States, in addition to his contributions.
