Lawrence Lessig is an American academic and political activist, Professor of Law at Harvard Law School and Director of the University's Edmund J. Safra Center for Ethics. Previously, he was a professor of law at Stanford University School of Law, where he founded the Stanford Center for Internet and Society. His other works include "Free Culture" and "The Future of Ideas".
