Ibrahim Al-Aswad: a Lebanese poet and historian, among the men of law. He has written poetry and several books on history, especially the history of Lebanon. Ibrahim bin Najm bin Elias bin Hanna Al-Aswad was born in 1885 AD in Broumana, Lebanon, to a Greek Orthodox family. Al-Aswad was appointed director of the Broumana School, then a clerk in the investigation department, and he advanced in positions until he was a public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal and a member of the board of directors. He was appointed as the “maqam maqam” for the Koura district in 1913 AD. He was fascinated by the press since his childhood, so he published at school with “Iskandar Ammon” a weekly manuscript newspaper called “Lebanon.” He has about ten printed books, including: “Lebanon Guide,” “Lebanon’s Ammunition,” “Enlightening the Minds in the History of Lebanon,” and “Enlightening the Minds in the History of Lebanon.” The Imperial Journey in the Ottoman Kingdoms", and "Rhetoric", in addition to his collection of poetry. She died in 1940 AD.
