She holds a BA in Fine Arts, Alexandria, and worked in the restoration of antiquities at the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria for ten years from 1972: 1982. She has been working as head of the Archaeological Artistic Drawings Department in the West Delta Antiquities Region in Alexandria, the Egyptian Antiquities Authority, since 1985.
