Aisha Al Basri is a Moroccan poet, born in 1960. She obtained her BA in Arabic literature from Mohammed V University in Rabat in 1981. Member of the House of Poetry and the Writers Union in Morocco. Vice-President of the International Society of Literary Criticism in France, she participated in several cultural festivals. Publishes articles in poetry and composition in Moroccan and Arab platforms. Her poetry has been translated into French, Spanish, Catalan, English, Turkish, Swedish, and other languages. The poet has a critical study entitled: Irony in Mahmoud Darwish's Poetry.
