Ahmed Farid Rifai, an Egyptian historian and writer, graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University. He was director of press and publishing at Al-Moayyad newspaper, and he published many articles and books, and among his most important works are the book “The Age of Al-Mamoun” and “Historical Eminent Persons.” He died in Cairo in 1956.
