He was born in 1949 in Berrechid. He obtained a postgraduate diploma in Arabic language and literature from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Fez in 1987. He also obtained a state doctorate in literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris in 1990. He is a university professor. Ahmed Al-Madini began publishing in 1967 in Al-Alam newspaper. He joined the Union of Moroccan Writers in 1972. His production is divided into short stories, poetry, literary criticism and translation. He has published his works in several newspapers and magazines: Al-Alam, Al-Moharr, Socialist Union, An-Nahar (Lebanon), Al-Safir (Lebanon), Al-Thawra, Al-Jumhuriya (Iraq), Anfas, Afaq Aqalam, Al-Adab, Al-Tariqa, Transformations, Contemporary Writings, Al-Karmel,
