Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Jafri, one of the symbols of the Saudi press, author of many books that deserved the appreciation of readers during his busy career between journalistic and creative giving. The late in Al-Hayat, Okaz and Al-Bilad newspaper, a daily zawiya, in addition to a number of weekly zawiyas in Arab magazines published in London. Al-Jafri was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 1939 AD, and received his education in Makkah Al-Mukarramah until the end of the secondary stage (literary section). His services were loaned from the Ministry of Information to several newspapers in successive years.. He worked as editor of Al-Bilad newspaper and Al-Madina Al-Monawara newspaper/ daily newspapers.. Then: responsible for the editorial at Okaz newspaper. He works as a full-time writer from his home.. He used to write a daily column entitled (Dialogue Point) in the international newspaper Al-Hayat, issued from London, and wrote: a weekly page in (Al-Jadeedah) magazine entitled: Words Beyond Restrictions, and a weekly page in the Saudi (Al-Yamamah) magazine, entitled: Ports on Tomorrow’s Journey, and a daily column in “Okaz” newspaper in Jeddah, entitled: (Shadows). He participated in writing in a number of Arab newspapers and magazines.. He used to write a daily column in the international edition of Al-Ahram entitled “Dialogue Point” before the publication of Al-Hayat newspaper.. He wrote in Egyptian magazines on a permanent weekly basis in: Akher Sa’a, October, Good morning. He was writing a weekly page in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam. The number of his publications so far: (29) books, including: collections of stories, novels, a human vision through dialogue, human paintings, and a vision of the logic of Arab discourse. He has publications in print.. So far: (11) books.
