A Syrian writer and writer, born in Raqqa in 1918, he worked in medicine and politics in addition to literature. He studied in Raqqa, Aleppo and Damascus and graduated from Damascus University - as a doctor in 1945. He was elected MP for Raqqa in 1947. He held a number of ministerial positions in the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Information in 1962. He is considered one of the most important figures of story and narration in Syria and the Arab world, and he published his first collections. The story was published in 1948, entitled The Witch's Girl. And he had other objects, such as the Lieutenant's watch and Seville's lanterns. Abd al-Salam al-Ajili wrote the story, the novel, the poetry and the article. The number of his works amounted to forty-four books until 2005, the most important of which are Nights and Stars (poetry 1951), A Smile Between Tears (1958 novel), Love and Self (stories 1959), Knight of the Qantara City (stories of 1971), The Bloody Flowers of Tishreen (stories 1974), in all Wade Stick (articles 1984). The Doctor's Talks (stories 1997), and Unknowns on the Road (stories 1997). The writings of the great writer Al-Ajili in the literary field are considered among the richest and most important Arab literary novels in the history of Arab literature. Most of his works have been translated into English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
