Photography

Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically via an image sensor, or chemically via a photosensitive material such as photographic film. It is employed in many areas of science, manufacturing (eg, photolithography), and business, in addition to its direct uses for art, film and video production, entertainment, hobbies, and mass communication.
