When I first read The 12 Factors of Business Success I was still running my Group Coaching practice. Iwas instantly struck by how it could significantly help Executives in all aspects of their lives - pleasedo not let the book title dissuade you. I was so enamoured with the lessons in 12 Factors that Istarted recommending it in place of Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - the 12Factors can be applied in all aspects of our lives to make a profound difference.The authors are all High Achievers in there respective fields and the lessons covered in 12 Factors aredeep rooted in first hand experiences, ancient wisdom, and positive psychology (which incidentallyalso has its foundation in Aristotelian and Stoic teachings). 12 Factors aims to wake us out of aslumber of mediocrity and show us that if we sincerely want something, the potential to bring it intoreality already exists within us, as Thomas Edison stated "If we did all the things we are capable ofdoing, we would literally astound ourselves." So how do we "astound ourselves?"
